THE BANK OF BENNINGTON BREAKS GROUND
AT NEW ARLINGTON LOCATION

The Bank of Bennington broke ground this week, beginning construction of its new, full service Arlington office. The new branch will be at 3198 Rte 7a in Arlington, next to the Dairy Bar. In attendance (photo left to right) were Jim Secor President of McDonald Secor Construction; James Brown, President and CEO of The Bank of Bennington; Ginny Bacon, Arlington Branch Manager; and Jim Comar, VP Sales and Business Development.

Once complete this new facility will offer a full-suite of services including drive-up tellers and a drive-up ATM. “We’re excited about the opportunity to serve Arlington and the surrounding communities with a full service branch” said Brown. The Bank of Bennington currently operates a branch in Arlington from a temporary location at 9 Church Street. The new facility is expected to be complete and opened in early 2009.
