We are pleased to announce the promotion of Shannon McLenithan to Senior Vice President of Residential Lending. McLenithan joined The Bank of Bennington as Vice President of Residential Lending in August of 2013. Shannon’s twenty-two year banking career has experienced her in loan operations, servicing, quality control, collections, loan compliance, secondary market, business development, marketing and project management. .
McLenithan is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Massachusetts College of Liberals Arts. In 2010 McLenithan graduated from the ABA Stonier National Graduate School of Banking in Philadelphia. Shannon is a board member of the Bennington Area Chamber of Commerce, the auditor for the White Oaks Congregational Church, and the secretary for the Green Mountain Friends of the NRA.
McLenithan resides in Pownal with her Husband Dale and their three children. “I am proud and honored to be associated with The Bank of Bennington, an institution that understands the value of community banking.” McLenithan said.
